Public Service Projects

The new year had a significant reduction in CDBG funding. Staff recommendation was awarding $15,000 to $20,000 each to a fewer number of organizations.

Microenterprise Assistance
CDBG regulations prioritize assisting microenterprises over larger businesses. An Microenterprise is a commercial enterprise that has 5 or fewer employees, one or more of whom owns the
enterprise.
Eligibility: either the owner or more than half of the employees must be LMI.
Not subject to the Public Service cap, since it is economic development
