Established
There shall be a Municipal Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board of Trustees made up
of five members, one of whom shall be the Mayor. Trustees shall serve two-year terms.
Authorities and Responsibilities
The Municipal Affordable Housing Trust Fund Board of Trustees shall work to provide
for the creation and preservation of affordable housing in Northampton for the benefit of
low- and moderate-income households. The Board manages the Municipal Affordable
Housing Trust Fund and has all other authority delegated to it under MGL c. 44, §55C.
The Affordable Housing Trust is an advisory and adjudicatory multiple-member body of
the City.
