All, save for the church, are now gone. I can see the beautiful stonework Bell Tower from my windows. Daily walks past the church with my dogs allow me to appreciate the impressive facade of St. JC Church and its history. The church was built and paid for solely by the Polish parishioners of the city. It is an architectural testament to their faith, tenacity and perseverance. It is the heart of the neighborhood. It is a beautiful, historic monument. (A comforting becon to all.) The sole saving grace for St. JC Church, is simply to award the requested CPA Funding to O'Connell Development to preserve this part of Northampton's history. Sincerely, Leslie W.
