Dear Community Preservation Committee,
I am writing to you to state my support for the O’Connell Development
Group’s request for funding to save the ST. JOHN Cantius from demolition. I enjoy the amazing architecture that we are
blessed to see in our beautiful city of Northampton. I think it is imperative that we do our best to maintain the proud
symbols of our heritage as well as being able to continue to enjoy the unique architecture that we have here in the Valley.
I am a 40 year business owner as well as resident here in our beautiful Northampton City. I feel we need to continue to
do more to help keep our amazing landmarks that help define who we are as a community here and these landmarks
help show our distinct character to our many visitors as well as help us attract new residents to settle in to our quaint city.
I hope that you will be reading many similar letters of support and requesting that you take the time to consider supporting
the Group’s request for funding. Thank you for your time.
