As a Polish American, I went to mass at St. John Cantius for more than 30 years. It is unfortunate that the church was not able to stay open years ago but it continues to be a proud symbol for the Polish community in the Pioneer Valley and for my own Polish American heritage. I also believe that the building has unique architecture and a bell tower with a visible landmark that has significance to the character of the City of Northampton. I hope the CPC considers this request and grants the CPA funding so St. John Cantius can be preserved for future Polish Americans to admire. Thank you for your consideration. Joe Gibowicz
