Dear Committee Members,
I would like O’Connell Development Group to receive $500,000 of CPA funding to restore the church’s roof, windows, and masonry.
The reason is that I do not want to see St. John Cantius demolished. I feel this way because the building is a proud symbol of the Polish community’s determination and my own heritage
as a Polish American.
I also love the unique architecture of the building as it adds to the character of the neighborhood.
It is important to preserve this historic building for the enjoyment of future generations.
