Project Description 1. a. Area Description (use additional paper, if necessary): Formerly a congregate living facility associated with the Northampton State Hospital, now vacant. Demolition of the dilapidated house and garage were completed in 2021 following a negative determination by the Commission c. Work Description (use additional paper and/or provide plan(s) of work, if necessary): Construction of three affordable single family homes within the outer 50-100 foot buffer zone to bordering vegetated wetlands. No work within the BVW or 0-50 foot buffer (Northampton Protected Zone) is proposed. Five trees within the buffer zone will be removed, the largest which is 12” dbh, all other trees within buffer will be protected and retained. A staked straw wattle erosion control at the limit of work is proposed, as shown on project plans.
