Staff Present Time  Sarah LaValley X   Aleta DeLisle X    Executive Session under MGL C 30A §21(6) to 'Consider the Purchase, Exchange, Leaseor Value of  Real Property' for interests in conservation lands. By roll call vote the Commission voted all in favor to enter Executive Session at 6:25 p.m. Wayne Feiden, Director, Planning & Sustainability reviewed a potential land acquisition of a 30+ acre of property on the northern side of Route 66, across from the Kensington Estates property that the City will be purchasing, for $125,000. The owner would keep scenic easements and one acre of land. Wayne noted that there would be no common driveway fees because it would be conservation land. Following a brief discussion, upon motion by Mason and second by Jack the Commission voted all in favor by roll call vote to proceed with the acquisition of the Fierst property and adjacent parcels. All in favor – 4; opposed – 0. Wayne stated that an appraisal will be done through Kestrel for the Vollinger property. Wayne updated the Commission on the Moose Lodge property on Cooke Avenue. Wayne stated they withdrew their zoning application but he is still willing to work with them on acquiring the property. Wayne noted that the Boggy Meadow Road property is being appraised by the owner. By roll call vote the Commission voted all in favor to adjourn Executive Session and return to Regular Session at 6:40 p.m.
