Staff Present Time  Sarah LaValley x   Aleta DeLisle x    Order of Business: Executive Session under MGL C 30A §21(6) to 'Consider the Purchase, Exchange, Lease or Value of Real Property' for interests in conservation lands. By roll call vote the Commission voted all in favor to enter into Executive Session at 6:05 p.m. Sarah discussed a 22 acre parcel of land on Old Sheppard Road (owner Williams, map id 10D-38). Sarah stated the City would aquire everything except a five acre lot and house with some frontage. Sarah stated it’s $1,500. per acre and noted there are some good hiking trails there. Upon motion by Tim and second by Jason the Commission voted all in favor by roll call vote to proceed with the acquisition. All in favor 5; opposed 0. Sarah provided an update on the land acquisition on Glendale Road. Sarah discussed a 30+ acre backland piece of property in the back of the Fierce property on Rte. 66 for $125,000. noting that the City would receive an access easement. Sarah also stated that there are two other lots near that piece that are also available. Kevin stated that the Commission doesn’t pay that much for backland noting the usual price as $1,000/acre. The Commission asked that Wayne Feiden, Director, Office of Planning and Sustainability come to a Commission’s meeting to provide more detail. By roll call vote the Commission adjourned Executive Session at 6:40 p.m. and returned to Regular Session.
