Description of the Proposed Project [24 CFR 50.12 & 58.32; 40 CFR 1508.25]:
This project seeks to make the Ryan Road Elementary School playground ADA accessible. CDBG funds would be used to add a piece of equipment, the Aeroglider, to our playground, making
the area accessible to children with disabilities. In addition, funds would be used to resurface part of our existing playground to make the new equipment accessible by wheelchair.
The Northampton Disability Commission is in full support and has recommended that CDBG funds be allocated to our school. Please see our brief presentation to the Northampton Disability
