THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT EXISTING TREES TO REMAIN ALONG THE SIDEWALK WORK WITH CHAIN-LINK FENCING PRIOR TO THE START OF ANY DEMOLITION WORK, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ARRANGE AN INSPECTION OF ALL TREE PROTECTION MEASURES WITH THE CITY TREE WARDEN. TREES TO BE PROTECTED ARE SHOWN ON THE PLANS. 5. NO STOCKPILING OF MATERIALS WILL BE ALLOWED ON SITE. CONTRACTOR TO ARRANGE TO HAUL AND STORE OFF-SITE. 6. PRIOR TO THE FINALIZATION OF THE PROJECT, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL TEMPORARY FENCING AND BARRICADES. 9. PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT DIG SAFE AT 811 TO REQUEST UTILITIES TO BE MARKED ON THE GROUND AND OBTAIN A TRENCH PERMIT FROM NORTHAMPTON DPW. THE FEE FOR THE PERMIT WILL BE WAIVED. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE EXACT LOCATION OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES BEFORE COMMENCING WORK. THE CONTRACTOR AGREES TO BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES WHICH MIGHT BE OCCASIONED BY HIS/HER FAILURE TO EXACTLY LOCATE AND PRESERVE ANY AND ALL UTILITIES. 10. ALL BOUNDARY MONUMENTS SHALL BE PROTECTED AND/OR PRESERVED DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION.
