RE: Lilly Library Native Plant Pollinator Walkway
Dear Board of Library Commissioners,
On behalf of the Northampton Planning and Sustainability, I urge you to support Lilly Library’s
application for support for a native plant pollinator walkway.
I am sure that this will build on the work of pollinator pathways downtown. It will add to our messaging,
public outreach, and public education.
The City’s Open Space, Recreation, and Multiuse Trail Plan has a twelve‐step action plan. The pollinator
walkway support several of these actions, “Improved Public Awareness,” “Honor History in the
Landscapes,” and “Develop Multi‐Use Trails for Easy Public Access.”
