Attached is the analysis of the estimated increase of transportation traffic for the chilled juice project.
Analysis was based on expected orders for 2010. Data will include finished goods (shipping) & raw
materials (receiving,) showing both total expected traffic increases per day for each month and
increases for the hours between 3pm and 5pm daily.
The Northampton Warehouse & Distribution Operation utilizes a computerized scheduling program
(SAP) to schedule incoming and outgoing shipments, distributing transportation traffic as evenly as
possible across all hours of operation. Coca-Cola works closely with transportation carriers to have the
shipments and deliveries adhere to that schedule.
