RE: Northampton State Hospital Historical Documentation

As we discussed, enclosed is our archival copy of the Northampton State Hospital Historical Documentation dated January 2000. This information was prepared and provided to the City
of Northampton in accordance with a Memorandum of Understanding between the City, the Massachusetts Historical Commission, and the Department of Capital Planning and Operations.
This office is not equipped to store this information or make it available to researchers. We are pleased that Forbes Library take charge of this documentation and add it to your collections.
The documentation consists of:
One bound copy of the narrative and historical maps, printed on archivally-stable acid-free paper.
One copy of archivally-processed photographs in non-buffered envelopes (151 photographs.
