Upon the recommendation of Mayor David J. Narkewicz and Planning and Sustainability
Ordered, that
WHEREAS, On September 7, 2018 City Council authorized the City to accept a deed for Lot 4, Earle Street, Village Hill South, at the former Northampton State Hospital for future public
uses or economic development;
WHEREAS, The City acquired the property on October 10, 2017;
WHEREAS, The City is exploring opportunities to sell the property to promote economic development;
Ordered, that
Lot 4 is declared surplus to City needs;
Further, the Mayor is authorized to sell the parcel with such conditions as he deems reasonable.
