Hello Sarah,
I live in the Baystate neighborhood and it has come to my attention that a developer is buying up properties (61 Warner,
also 170 Federal St., and 39 Landy) here with the intention to demolish and build numerous houses. I have been
concerned this would happen, and feel strongly that ill considered projects that are not about bettering the neighborhood,
but rather for profit, that push more affordable options out the door for lower income folks is unacceptable.
I love the nature of this area of Florence and believe the historical nature of the buildings and the stories they hold within
them make this a beautiful place to call home. Demolition, rather than upgrade destroys that history.
Please take my concerns into consideration.
