Attached, please find a Request for a Certificate of Compliance for the above referenced DEP file
number associated with the Construction of a driveway for a single family house. Also attached is a
check payable to the City of Northampton for the filing fees associated with this request.
New England Environmental, Inc. conducted a site visit on September 5, 2008 to review the above
mentioned property. All of the wetland- related work items as described in the Notice of Intent,
including the construction of a driveway, and the creation of a small wetland mitigation area have
been completed in accordance with the approved plans prepared by New England Environmental,
Inca and submitted with the Notice of Intent dated October 20, 2004. No house has been
constructed to date, which will be built entirely outside of the 100 foot buffer zone. The wetland
has, gone through two complete growing seasons and it is more than 85% vegetated with wetland
species (see attached photograph).
I am attaching photographs of the existing site conditions of the driveway, the wetland mitigation
area, and the permanent monuments which have been erected (bird houses on metal poles).
We request that the Northampton Conservation Commission issue a Certificate of Compliance for
DEP file 246 -550 for the completion of this project.
