I, Mark B. Darnold, P.E., of the Berkshire Design Group, Inc. was the site
design engineer for the recently completed Wilson Plumbing and Heating
facility, in Northampton, MA.
On August 22, 2008 I visited the site. I was not present during construction,
and I did not take any measurements regarding exact horizontal and /or
vertical locations of structures. Based upon my visual observations of the
completed project it is my opinion that the project has been constructed in
substantial compliance with the approved plans.
The only noticeable change in the plan was the flared end outlet from the
Stormwater Treatment Chamber located on the north side of the building,
which was installed approximately 35 feet easterly of the location shown on
the approved plans. This flared end outlet is in the retention basin and it is
my opinion that this minor change in location would not have any impact on
the intent of design or on the function of the proj e t
