issued on March 19, 2020, and Addendum 2 issued on March 26, 2020.
The attention of bidders submitting bids for the above subject project is called to the following
addendum to the specifications and drawings. The items set forth herein, whether of omission,
addition, substitution, or clarifications are all to be included in and form a part of the bid submitted.
THE NUMBER OF THIS ADDENDUM ( 3 ) MUST BE ENTERED IN THE APPROPRIATE SPACE “B”
PROVIDED AFTER THE WORD “NUMBERED” OF THE CONTRACT FORM ENTITLED “GENERAL BID
FORM” ON SHEET 2‐2.
On March 25, 2020, the State of Massachusetts Governor’s Legal Office issued a letter addressed to
municipalities in the state to provide guidance and clarification concerning the March 23, 2020
emergency order in regards to “COVID‐19 Essential Services” and specifically the construction
industry.
The letter and enclosure of the “Commonwealth of Massachusetts COVID‐19 Guidelines and
Procedures for All Construction Sites and Workers At All Public Work” outlines various procedures and
responsibilities of contractors and municipalities that shall be incorporated into the contract.
SECTION 5 – SPECIAL CONDITIONS & PROVISIONS
All contractors must follow the state's COVID‐19 construction standards set forth in the attached
letter, and any supplement issued by the State or the City.

All other portions of the Contract Documents and plans remain unchanged.
