The attention of bidders submitting bids for the above subject project is called to the following addendum
to the specifications and drawings. The items set forth herein, whether of omission, addition,
substitution, or clarifications are all to be included in and form a part of the bid submitted.
THE NUMBER OF THIS ADDENDUM ( 1 ) MUST BE ENTERED IN THE APPROPRIATE SPACE “B” PROVIDED
AFTER THE WORD “NUMBERED” OF THE CONTRACT FORM ENTITLED “GENERAL BID FORM” ON SHEET 2‐2.
This addendum has been issued to address changes to the contract regrading the submission of the bid
and public bid opening procedures as a result of COVID‐19.
Advertisement For Bids & Section 1 – Invitation for Bid
1. General
Delivery & Bid Opening ‐
Bids still due 2:00 PM on April 2, 2010.
Bids will be due at Planning & Sustainability at 210 Main Street, Room 11, Northampton, MA 01060.
If City Hall is open, bids can be delivered by that deadline.
If City Hall is not open because of COVID‐19, bids can either be:
1. Mailed so long as they reach the city at least 48 hours BEFORE the bid opening OR
2. Bids can be hand delivered to a drop off box in front of City Hall that will be available from 1:45 PM to
2:00 PM.
Bids will be opened live a few minutes after 2:00 PM. If City Hall is closed, bid opening will be available on‐
line on Zoom:
