Narkewicz and Planning & Sustainability 19.154 An Order to authorize Surplus 5.25 Acres on Easthampton Road WHEREAS, On August 17, 2017 City Council authorized the City to buy 55 acres of land, with approximately 50 acres for the Rocky Hill Conservation Area on Easthampton Road and 5.25 acres for future economic development, solar photovoltaics, or municipal uses; WHEREAS, The 5.25 acre parcel is described in a deed recorded at Book 12857, Page 9, Hampshire Registry of Deeds; WHEREAS, If there is demand, the City would be best served by selling the 5.25 acre parcel for economic development; Ordered, that City Council declares the 5.25 acre parcel surplus to City needs and authorizes the Mayor to sell the parcel, subject to any restrictions the Mayor deems appropriate.
