After this reimbursement of $1957.14, grant funds remaining total $501.62.
The remaining grant funds will be spent on tape. The tape will be placed on the gliders of the drawers of the storage cabinets donated by the company; these cabinets contain artifacts
such as hairbrushes, hand mirrors and toothbrushes. When the drawers are opened and closed, sawdust piles up along the sides and front of each drawer. The tape will reduce the amount
of sawdust that is created. After experimentation, the collections manager found a tape she likes and planned to order the tape and complete the task. The COVID-19 closures did not
allow time to complete that task prior to her maternity leave.
After the tape is purchased, any remaining grant funds will be spent on archival quality folders and/or storage boxes.
