[1] Please note that Tsuga canadensis needs to be listed as a wetland indicator plant on the data sheets as it is
listed as one in the Act, 131/40. It should have an asterisk next to it. Please see Paragraph 9 of the Act.
[2] Whenever BVW fill is proposed, the applicant should always provide an alternatives analysis of avoid, minimize,
mitigate, per the last paragraph of 310 CMR 10.55(4)(b).
[3] The Commission may require that a replication checklist and a monitoring report be submitted per the
Massachusetts Inland Wetland Replication Guidelines (https://www.mass.gov/media/1523011) should BVW
alterations be warranted (i.e., unavoidable) and permitted.
