Present were Members: Chair Mark NeJame, Bob Riddle, Larry Snyder and Associate Member David Narkewicz. Staff. Planning Director Wayne Feiden and Board Secretary Laura Krutzler. Prior to the opening of the regular meeting, Larry Snyder, acting as Zoning Administrator, opened the Public Hearing on Request by Mary Law for a Finding under Section 9.3(1)(D) of the Zoning Ordinance to change a pre - existing nonconforming structure by the addition of a 12' by 14' sunroom for property located at 31 Bridge Road, Florence, also known as Assessor's Map 16B, Parcel 20. Snyder noted that the legal notice had been published in the Daily Hampshire Gazette. Mary Law presented the application. Snyder confirmed that she was going to be following the line of the existing nonconforming setback. Snyder said his experience with the Board had been that they approved findings when the applicant was not increasing the nonconformity. He stated that, after questioning Law, he had determined that it would not create any other zoning violations, it was just an extension of the pre- existing nonconformity. Snyder moved to grant the Finding under Section 9.3 (1)(D). Extension of Time -Frame for Action - Sylvia Falk. Krutzler informed members that the Planning Department had received an application from an applicant who had requested that the hearing be scheduled for April 13th.
