Renew Taxi Cab Service Operations in a commercial building within a residential zone.
HARDSHIP:
CONDITION OF APPROVAL:
1)No more than 6 cabs may operate at the site
2. No more than 4 cabs may be parked overnight
3. No on street parking of cabs or employee vehicles.
4. No idling of cabs or employee vehicles
5. Vehicles shall not be parked so as to block private residential driveways
6. Vehicle turnaround should be done using the site driveway
7. No car maintenance is allowed between 10 PM and 7 AM
8. Up to a maximum of two unregistered vehicles are allowed onsite but must be stored inside.
FINDINGS:
The Zoning Board granted the Finding to continue the non-conforming commercial use for the cab company at the site. The previous 8
month permit for the use expired. The Board found that the continued use with modified conditions was not substantially more
detrimental to the neighborhood than the previous use. They therefore lifted the time limited permit condition.
