This is the real importance of maintaining the positive direction of justice with freedom. This will happen through deeper education of the factual history of human behavior regarding how humans have treated each other while it contrasts the persistent shared mythology of racism. This problem is affected by simply inaccurate information regarding human diversity that factual history can diminish. It has recently become more intense in current events world wide and so more support is needed. The true record of human history will educate the future with the past as a way to create progress ensuring justice can prevail. Without the accurate historic record to teach the future we can’t adequately improve on the past. The David Ruggles Center is an ideal place to maintain progress informing human justice right here in Northampton. The DRC is preserving the obscured histories locally and in our country under the name of one of it’s largely unknown but great pioneers. David Ruggles taught what needed to be known through brave actions, publications and creating connections for everyone to support progress and we must do our best to help it continue. Sincerely, Tris Metcalfe Northampton Ma
