6:30 P.M. Bruce Kriviskey opened the hearing on a Request by City of Northampton to install a
cover box on the ventilation and intake pipes for Memorial Hall 31d-165.
David Pomerantz presented the request on behalf of the City.
The Committee discussed the need to mask/hide the cover in some manner either with paint or
landscaping.
Upon motion by Joe Blumenthal and second by Bob Walker the Committee voted unanimously
to close the hearing and issue the permit with one condition:
The box be painted a color that matches the building or that evergreen landscaping be installed to
hide it.
