Disassembly and Cleaning Phase: Complete
Conservation Phase: Complete
Assembly Phase:
Tiffany Window: Two craftsman working on project. Four panels in process from top arch to Parsons inscription at the sill. Multiple layers are being assembled and soldered together.
It is to be noted that original cracked glass has been retained and glued and/or foiled in lieu of substituting replacement glass of similar texture and color due its historical significance.
The medallion that was so prominent in earlier photos is now returned to its original appearance with the addition of multiple layers of colored glass. Reinstallation of the Tiffany
Window is scheduled for mid to late October.
Rose Window: Three craftsman involved with final preparations for packaging and delivery. Ventilator panels are in the process of being installed in their metal frames and caulked
with urethane demonic sealant. The center panel of the Rose Window is complete and awaiting packaging (see photo). Finished window panels are being checked to agree with original field
measurements and photos and trimmed if necessary to conform. Completed panels are awaiting packaging for delivery. Reinstallation in the church is scheduled to commence September
25 and take three to four days.
At the conclusion of this site visit an invoice for payments #5 and #6 for 10% each of the contracted price was received from Stained Glass Resources, Inc. It has been reviewed and
found acceptable and has been submitted to the church recommending payment.
Stained Glass Resources, Inc. is currently anticipating scheduling of the Rose Window installation for September 25, 2017. The Tiffany Window is expected to be complete and installed
in October 2017.
