Whereby it.is,ordered and adjudged and decreed that the permit
prayed for in the petition of Xpseph E. and Ella D. Greenwood
be granted in the location set for,in the petition on the con-
ditions that are set forth in Section 4, paragraph 6 of C. 46
of the City Ordinances of the City of Northampton,
"In a Residence B district no building shall be erected for
or altered for an no building premises may be used for any
Purpose except: "A development containing a group or groups of
single family, two family or multi-dwellings, or any combination
thereof, on a single lot subject to the following conditions:
(a) A permit shall be obtained from the Board of Appeals
after a public hearing.
(b) No building shall be erected to a height in excess of
2-i stories or 35 feet,., Neither the basement nor the
half story shall tae occupied as liviiig or sleeping
quarters, except for janitor's apartment in the base-
ment.
(o) Buildings shall be so grouped that each building shall
face for the full length of its front either upon any
existing street, or upon an open space which in its
least dimension shall not be less than 60 feet, Where
the rear elevations of the principal buildings are built
parallel to each other or within 30 degrees of parallel '
the average distance between their long dimensions shall
be not lessthan 50 feet. Each building whether principal
or accessory shall be fit least 30 feet distant from any
other building in the group, which distance shall be meas-
ured in a straight line between the points of 'the buildings
which are nearest to each other."
