Dear Brian,
The Leeds Civic Association enthusiastically supports the use of CPA funds for this new
Beaver Brook-Broad Brook Greenway.
This new greenway will be well used by Leeds residents. Creating an area that has
been a neglected piece of old farm land for decades into walking trails and a wildlife
observation area will be a huge benefit to Leeds and all of Northampton. And it is
especially important that sits on a gateway point to the City.
Hopefully the new Beaver Brook-Broad Brook Greenway will one day connect to the Mill
River Greenway and host a ‘Welcome To Northampton’ sign.
The Leeds Civic Association looks forward to watching this new Greenway become a
reality and we encourage you to look favorably on this application.
