The Saw Mill Hills to Water’s Edge project has funded the acquisition of the this key conservation land
1.Leveraging: These funds leveraged non-CPA grants, community donations, and city staff and legal
time covering over 60% of the cost of the project.

2.Acquisition: The project has funded the acquisition of the Talon Trust property, surrounded on
three sides by conservation land and one side by the Roberts Reservoir public drinking water land.
Vollinger (two parcels).
3.Soft Costs: Soft costs were funded from city in-kind contributions closing costs (MLCs, taxes from
closing, recording fee, legal and staff time. Recording a conservation restriction and related
stewardship fees will be charged to the conservation fund after the closing.
