RE: Christopher Heights of Northampton Final Report

Community Preservation Committee Members,
Christopher Heights of Northampton is a three story assisted living community containing eighty-three (83) units located at 50 Village Hill
Road. We opened our doors on November 16th, 2016. The community has sixty-nine (69) studio/alcove apartments and fourteen (14) one bedroom apartments. A minimum of 17 units (20%)
are restricted to extremely low income residents earning less than 30% of the area median income while an additional 26 units are restricted to residents earning less than 60% of the
area median income. This building was built as LEED Silver. Some of the ways this was achieveed were through extra insulation, air tightness, low flow toiletts, high efficieny heating
and cooling equipemnt, LED lighting, and all engery star fixtures.
As assisted living, this community serves the special needs of the elderly senior population, while developing the
facility within the master planned Village Hill property creates multi-generational housing that addresses community planning and advanced equity. As an assisted living community we
offer the following services and amenities to our residents:
•Assistance with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing and grooming;
•Medication Reminders;
•Safety checks;
•Dedicated
staff available 24 hours a day - 7 days a week;
•Three chef prepared meals served daily in our country style dining rooms;
•Housekeeping;
•Weekly flat linen and personal laundry service;
•Full
daily social and activity programs;
Each apartment also has an Emergency Response System located in both the bathroom and living areas. The Emergency Response System is monitored twenty
four hours a day by our on site staff.
