REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WOKS
TO THE CITY COUNCIL
On June 21, 2001, the City Council referred to the Board of Public Works a petition for
the discontinuance of a portion of the layout of Old South Street (adjacent to the entrance
of "Fire & Water at 5 Old South Street).
The Board of Public Works held a public hearing on Wednesday, July 11, 2001, and at its
meeting on Wednesday, August 8, 2001, after considering the petition, voted
unanimously to recommend the discontinuance of said portion of the layout of Old South
Street to the City Council.
