Hi Sarah:Please
see responses below.
1) the movable furniture; The cost of movable furniture is about $7,000.2) the purchase, transportation and planting of the large evergreen tree; The cost
to provide and plant a new evergreen tree (18-20 ft tall) is about $7,500.3) the cost of fabricating and installing the proposed entrance sign is about $7,000.Please also explain
the expected lifespan of the movable furniture and provide a commitment on the part of the City to replace at regular intervals the furniture becomes damaged, degraded or is stolen.
In
a high use area like the main plaza, Stimson expects a lifespan of about 7-10 years. Stimson has suggested that the City budget replacing tables/chairs approximately every 5-years. Since
the tables and chairs are a key element to the enjoyment and function of the plaza, the City is committed to maintaining adequate furniture in future years.
