Dear Mr. Thompson:
On September 18, 2014, the Northampton Conservation Commission issued an Enforcement
Order pursuant to MGL c 131 §4o, and Chapter 337 of the Northampton General Code. This
enforcement required that you submit a plan for soil stabilization and vegetation restoration, for
all areas of the parcel on which clearing and grubbing had occurred in violation of the above -
referenced state law and City Ordinance A plan was not received by the October 23 deadline,
and the enclosed $100 noncriminal fine is issued pursuant to §337 -12E of the Northampton
Ordinance, You may pay this fine or request a hearing according to the instructions on the
violation notice. If a restoration plan is not received within 30 -days of the issuance of this
notice, the Commission will take further action, including possible daily fines.
