Project Summary: Please provide a brief description of the project.
Funding is requested to provide the Broad Brook Coalition with the resources needed to
control and eradicate a recently discovered stand of the invasive plant, Phragmites
australis, on the Broad Brook in the Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area. Expedited review
would enable the BBC to initiate the project prior to the peak growing season for this
plant.
