Project Summary: Please provide a brief description of the project.
This project involves the restoration of the fagade of the historic City Hall building. Such
work would aid in the preservation of the architecturally significant building. Work would
include: repair and painting of the stucco veneer covering the building; replacement of
damaged and /or deteriorated wooden trim and painting of the trim. Simultaneously to
applying for CPA funding, funds are now being applied for from the Massachusetts
Historical Commission under Round 19 of the Massachusetts Preservation Project Fund.
Obtaining these funds will require a match using local funds.
