Please consider this our summary of 2012 CPA activity regarding theBroad Brook Gap acquisition.In 2012, after we signed a contract for CPA funds, we:1. Were able to use the CPA
funds to leverage a large PARC grant thatwill pay approximately 50% of the entire project.2. We negotiated an amendment to our Option to purchase the propertyto remove a stump we
don't want to purchase and reduce our purchaseprice.3. We obtained clarification from the CPC that the Broad Brook Gapincludes the Kubosiak and the other three parcels that make
up theBeaver Brook Gap, and are therefore eligible for using CPA funds.4. We completed our title abstract and environmental site assessmenton the Kubusiak propertyIn 2013, we will:1.
Survey the Beaver Brook Gap area to support all Beaver Brook Gappurchases (approximately $27,400)2. Purchase the Kubosiak parcel (approximately $240,400)3. We believe (although
we have not yet signed a contract) that wewill purchase a second of the Beaver Brook parcels (approximately$21,400).We expect to close out the grant by the end of 2013, but we reservethe
opportunity to use 2014 to complete our purchases.
