S7onature C - Name Rich d CnrnPa Address 277 Audubon Road Leeds, MA 01053 Tel. (414) 5R4 -nlga 1 '2 The proposed work includes the construction of a 24 24' two -car garage and driveway at 277 Audubon Rd. Some of this work will take place within the 1.00' buffer zone of a wetland but none in the wetland itself. The garage will be located within 100' of a small intermittent stream in an area that presently is a lawn. There will be no changes in grading for the garage, and all needed excavations for the foundation will be completed within one week. Drainage from the roof will be directed onto the lawn ara. It is not planned to have gutters or downspouts on the building. The driveway will be largely located on the present lawn area, with limited intrusion into the adjoining wooded area. Several medium -sized pines will need to be removed as well as a sugar maple near the proposed garage and several smaller trees. The drive will be 10' wide with a turn- around that will also be 10' at its closest point to the wetland. There will be little change in existing grades for the drive. Some fill will be necessary to bring the drive up to the street to prevent drainage from or onto the road. There will also be minimal fill required to bring the drive level with the garage floor. In either case a change of less than one foot is anticipated. The drive will not be paved at this time. A top of stone dust will be used. A crown will be formed on the drive to promote sheet drainage from both sides. There will be no alteration of the site beyond the wetland side of the drive. The rocks that are presently on site will be used to make a wall or for naturalization. The trees that are removed will be replaced by a greater number of hemlocks. It is estimated that the installation of the drive will take no more than two or three days. Stabilization and planting of the wetland side of the drive will be completed within two weeks to take advantage of the spring planting season. a O n V V of w v , o m p Ci 4 v VVV i / Ilp -\%\ , w _ o z 1 A a1
