Evaluate the characteristics of this building in terms of other buildings within the community. This is a two story Tudor Revival style home with complex massing in the form of a modified “L” shaped plan and stucco cladding. The main block of the house has a front gable roof with wood shingles in the gable field. The front façade features a bay window with metal roof above which is a triple window. The southern slope of the roof extends downward to the first story to cover a recessed entry porch that is supported by a brick column. On the northern side of the house, the roof slopes downward to the first story only on the back half of the house to cover a side wing. The side wing has ribbon six over six windows. The northern slope of the roof also contains a pedimented dormer with triple window. Windows on the house are mostly six over six sash. The house has through-cornice brick chimneys on the northern and southern elevations of the home. HISTORICAL NARRATIVE Discuss the history of the building.
