historic integrity is not assured at this point. The building should be re-inventoried when its work has been completed. HISTORICAL NARRATIVE Discuss the history of the building. Explain
its associations with local (or state) history. Include uses of the building, and the role(s) the owners/occupants played within the community. From Form B of 1980: “Massasoit Street
was laid out in 1869 for residential development. By 1873, about a dozen houses had been built, including this one. Most of the other houses on the street were built by the end of the
19th century. The 1873 atlas shows this house as the property of ‘Cook,’ and the directory of the same year lists Francis Cook, a mason, on Massasoit Stret. Mr. Cook was in business
