the railroad tracks, are commercial, office, and industrial businesses. The eastern side of Hawley Street is predominantly comprised of residential uses. This house occupies the front
1/3 of an acre lot that was subdivided in the 2000s to allow for additional residential uses. Mature trees and shrubbery surround the home.

space as necessary to complete the following entries, allowing text to flow onto additional continuation sheets. ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION: Describe architectural features. Evaluate
the characteristics of this building in terms of other buildings within the community. This is a two-story Federal style home with very shallow hipped roof with projecting cornice and
narrow cornerboards. At the center of the five bay front façade is a wide slightly recessed front entrance with paired flanking pilasters, sidelights, and classical molding. The two
story entry porch with Queen Anne style turned posts, spindle friezes and balustrade was also a later alteration to the home. On the southern side of the home is an entry way with simple
pilasters and architrave. This entry originally had a transom, but it has been covered over. The house has replacement windows that are six over six sash and the house has been covered
in vinyl. The house has paired interior brick chimneys on the western elevation of the roof as well as a single brick chimney on the eastern elevation of the roof. There is a small two
story addition on the far eastern corner of the southern elevation of the home that is one bay wide and two bays deep. This house occupies the front 1/3 of an acre lot that was subdivided
in the 2000s to allow for additional residential uses. HISTORICAL NARRATIVE Discuss the history of the building. Explain its associations with local (or state) history. Include uses
of the building, and the role(s) the owners/occupants played within the community. From Form B of 1980: “This house probably dates from 1806 when Heman Pomeroy obtained 1 ¾ acres. This
comprised the northern half of the David Turner estate. Mr. Pomeroy was a tailor and kept the property until 1814. The house passed through a number of other hands during the 19th century,
