Project Summary: Please provide a brief description of the project. This project will include
2 to 3 homeownership condo units that count toward Northampton's 40B affordable housing
inventory (serving households earning less than 80% of area median income), and up to 3
affordable condo units serving households earning up to the area median income. Several
properties in walking distance to downtown Northampton and Florence are being considered
which would involve adaptive reuse of existing buildings or construction of new buildings on
previously developed sites. The total project size is anticipated to include 6 to 8 residential units.
It is expected that a purchase offer will be negotiated and DHCD site eligibility letter application
will be submitted in August, followed by CPA and Comprehensive Permit applications.
