Residential Finding Expansion of a non-conforming side setback Project Address: 40 Norfolk Ave Zoning Urban Residential A Adjacent Uses: Residential The existing attached shed/garage is about .7’ from the side lot line. The applicant proposes to extend the structure 4.5’ toward the rear of the property at this same setback. Staff has no concerns about the proposed extension. The structures was formerly an attached garage that was then converted to living area. The applicant wishes to convert it back to a garage. The Board must find in accordance with 350-9.3 whether the proposed expansion of the residential structure is substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing condition. Staff Recommendation: Approve Finding
