5:30 P.M. David Bloomberg opened the request for a SPECIAL PERMIT to build an attached garage closer than 60’ from the front lot line at 66 Bancroft Rd, Northampton, Map ID 31B-3.
Kathryn Grandico, applicant, described the interest for the garage and why it couldn’t be located 60’ from the front lot line.
David Bloomberg clarified the standard for review in the zoning.
Rafael Atlas, 70 Hillside and abutter in the rear raised a concern about directed runoff from the roof of the garage.
Staff clarified that the Board could condition the permit to address the concern.
David Bloomberg read staff memo regarding width of curb cut.
Upon motion by Bob Riddle and second by Malcolm Smith, the board voted unanimously to close the hearing.
Upon motion by Malcolm Smith and second by Bob Riddle the board voted to approve the special permit with two conditions.
Upon motion by Bob Riddle and second by Malcolm Smith, the Board voted unanimously to approve the minutes of 2/9.
