5:30 P.M. David Bloomberg opened the request for a FINDING to alter/ modify a pre-existing non-conforming use and lot at 375 South St. (former Cahillane Dodge), Northampton, Map ID
38C-20.
Rich Cahillane, applicant, described the proposed changes to the site and the possible tenant spaces.
Bloomberg asked about signage.
Cahillane noted that it wasn’t clear what the tenant would need.
The Board discussed the project landscaping and lighting and lighting levels.
Sara Northrup asked about the overhead doors and whether they would stay.
Cahillane noted that they will be taking at least one out.
They would keep the area in front of the §A
Board discussed proposed staff conditions with applicant.
Upon motion by Barry Smith and second by Sara Northrup, the board voted unanimously to close the hearing.
Upon motion by BS and second by Sara Northrup, the board voted to approve the application with the conditions discussed including review of replacement bulbs and phasing the tree planting
along the street.
