Jan 12, 2012 Minutes Zoning Board of Appeals Zoning Administrator 4:00 PM, January 12, 2012 City Hall Hearing Room 18, 210 Main Street, Northampton, MA 01060 At 4:00 PM David Bloomberg, Zoning Administrator for the Zoning Board of Appeals, opened the public hearing on the application by Thomas Pappalardo and Sarah Smith at 254 Prospect Street, Northampton (Map ID 24c-14) for a FINDING for an expansion of a non-conforming side setback, by reading the legal ad as it appeared in the Daily Hampshire Gazette on December 29, 2011 and January 5, 2012. The applicant presented their application, as previously submitted. There were no other members of the public. David Bloomberg noted that DPW indicated that they had no concerns about the project. David Bloomberg issued the Finding, after finding that: 1)The expansion is no more detrimental than the existing home; and 2)The expansion is consistent with the Sustainable Northampton Comprehensive Plan, which encourages infill development close to downtown where such development doesn’t causes detrimental impacts. David Bloomberg closed the public hearing and public meeting at 4:05 PM.
