The subject parcel comprises 8,575 square feet of railroad right of way in the Town of Northampton,
MA. It is owned by the Boston and Maine Corporation, c/o Guilford Transportation Industries, Inc.
( "GTI "), and referred to as part of the "Connecticut River Main Line". The parcel is part of an active
right -of -way and 38' feet from the centerline of track.
POLLING RESULTS: Those agencies that responded to the canvass expressed no interest or offered
any•comments. The following comment is offered by the Massachusetts Highway Department
• District 3: District has no interest in purchase, but would recommend sale to the City of
Northampton. The City has a $2.7 million project to reconstruct Damon Road. The City is
'responsible for right -of -way.
Please note that the Town of Northampton responded to EOTC canvass indicating no interest.
