Public Comment None Chair’s Report Katharine relayed that she spoke to Mayor Higgins regarding the Valley CDC staff support application, and that the Mayor is still looking into whether this constitutes an eligible activity under the CPA. The Committee generally discussed housing applications for non-real estate specific projects. Katharine informed the Committee that City Council is looking into whether an appointee to fill out the remainder of Lilly’s term can be designated. The Ordinance is not clear whether this is possible. The Community Preservation legislation has been re-filed, and Katharine encouraged people to contact legislators to support the bill. The Sober House project may need some additional funds, and Katharine will advise Yvonne Freccero to call Sarah to discuss a possible expedited application. Minutes December 15, 2010 Brian moved to accept the minutes as presented, seconded by Downey. The motion carried unanimously. Request for Administrative Funds, Academy of Music Katharine informed the Committee that she spoke with the Community Preservation Coalition, who advised this would not be an allowable expenditure of administrative funds. Eligibility Forms Submitted Katharine will talk to Wayne about the vagueness of some of the eligibility forms submitted to make it clear that additional information will be required in the full applications. The Committee agreed the Downtown Park project would be eligible. Project Updates Sarah informed the Committee that the Grove Street Inn and Hospital Hill Chapel Roof projects have been completed, and final reports are available online. Review of Contracts The Committee reviewed project-specific contract conditions for awards made in Round 2 2010, and made small modifications.
