On behalf of the Conservation Commission, I am pleased to submit this final report for CPA-
funded purchase of the Justin West property on Sylvester Road.
We have closed on this property (9/1/2009, Book 9953, Page 187) and added it to the Saw Mill
Hills Conservation. The property includes some ledges that are valuable both esthetically and
provide valuable bird nesting sites.
The property funding was as follows:
CPA Grant to purchase 13 acres $13,000
CPA Conservation fund to purchase 5 acres added to additional purchase $ 5,000
CPA Conservation Fund for soft costs (survey and registry of deeds) $ 4,195
